I trained as a teacher in Home Economics and Needlework . Taught both subjects in London and Pembrokeshire for over thirty years.

After retiring from teaching did a course in drama and music and was fortunate enough to have an Equity Card which allowed me to have small acting parts in both English and Welsh on television including seventeen years on the Welsh “soap” “Pobol y Cwm”. During this time I also attended textile art classes and spent all my spare time designing and making Wallhangings and pictures in textile art, some of which I have sold in Britain and America.

My first interest was kindled when I saw the”fall” in both Canada and America. I was thrilled to see the work of “The Group of Seven” in Canada and had my first ideas from seeing some of their paintings. At the present time I am very interested in Welsh poetry and have worked on Wall Hangings based on Welsh Poems written by our famous Welsh poets such as Waldo Williams and our present Arch Druid, T James Jones.
